
All consultants at The Cambridge Group fill one of five roles, each with a specific set of promotion expectations.
On-campus recruits with undergraduate degrees begin in the Business Analyst role while MBA candidates are hired as Consultants. For experienced hires, your initial role at TCG will vary by the nature and length of prior job experience.
The Cambridge Group is a meritocracy, so although consultants typically spend at least 2 years in any given role, it is not uncommon to progress more quickly. Likewise, while other firms require an MBA degree to reach the Consultant level many TCG analysts have been promoted to Consultant without a graduate degree.
