Pete Killian is a Principal with The Cambridge Group. During his time with the
firm Pete has helped develop demand-driven growth strategies that drive
business impact in a wide range of industries, with a focus on retail and CPG.
In retail, Pete has led multiple enterprise-wide strategy engagements in
grocery, mass, club, and specialty classes of trade. His focus is on developing
and executing portfolio investment strategies for retailers in turnaround
In CPG, Pete helps clients develop growth strategies focused on health &
wellness, pricing & promotion, and retail activation. On numerous
engagements Pete has helped CPG manufacturers and their retail customers
jointly execute strategies that drove double-digit comp growth, reversed
category declines, and pursued strategic win-wins.
Prior to Cambridge, Pete developed new tools for balanced scorecard
assessment and quality assurance metrics at the Children’s Hospital of
Chicago. He earned undergraduate degrees in both economics and
philosophy from the University of Chicago
