Matt Gonwa is a Partner with The Cambridge Group. He focuses on developing growth strategies for clients across a range of consumer-facing industries, including consumer goods, retail and media. He has helped craft growth strategies via consumer segmentation and targeting, brand positioning, product innovation, portfolio optimization and retail activation.
Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, Matt worked at the Institute for Defense Analyses, a Department of Defense think tank. While at IDA, Matt worked on strategic planning and resource allocation issues for DoD and several other governmental entities, including NASA, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Matt earned an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Marketing Strategy. Matt also earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
